Message I have no resolution on my accident yet. But I'm still looking at options of what I want to do. I'm definitely not fixing it, because the estimate I got was a little over $16K. That was a real, up on the lift, looking around estimate.

One of the things I'm considering is a car with a spun bearing. Great chassis, interior etc, body is in good shape from what I've heard also. The car has (and here's where I need the help):

Ported and Polished Exhaust Manifolds Ported & Polished Heads w/5 Angle Valve Job w/JWT Race Cams,JUN Adjustable Cam Gears, JUN Heavy Duty Valve Springs,JUN Titanium Valve Spring Retainers,JUN Bronze Valve Guides

The car also has DSP Racing Super T28's turbos.

The motor was built by SGP, and the owner had brought it back 3 times to have it rebuilt (bottom end issues each time, rod knock).

Would I be better off:

A) Rebuilding the motor in his car.

B) Pulling the heads off his car, rebuilding my bottom end (nothing crazy, just a solid rebuild), and making a new motor from the two.

The motor never made it past break in, the whole build, including turbos, has less than 2000 miles on it. The car is a 92.

The car has also been sitting for a couple of years. What should I look for with the engine sitting for so long? Valve fatigue, turbo shaft play?
